Czech experimental post-punk band Der Marabu (until 1990 Marabu) was established in 1986 by three musicians: composer and keyboard player Vladimír Hirsch, drummer Josef Škoda and bass guitarist Tomáš Hadrava. With guitarist Janis Georgiu joining the line up, Marabu puts together a concert program performed for the first time with the singer Samír Hauser (Bruno Ferrari) in 1987. In 1990-1994, the band was formed by Vladimír Hirsch - keyboards, vocal, bass, Josef Škoda - drums, Michael Kureš - guitar.
